The following items are collected for recycling in Davison Township's curbside program:

Glass jars & bottles, aluminum cans, foil & pie tins, tin or steel cans, cereal boxes, paper towels rolls, cardboard (flatten all boxes), telephone books, junk mail, plastic bottles & containers, magazines & catalogs, newspapers and inserts, office paper and file folders, paper bags.

The following items are NOT collected:

Styrofoam, electronics, ceramics or dishes, food waste, used pizza boxes, plastic grocery bags, motor oil containers, hazardous waste containers, light bulbs, window glass or mirrors.

      Seven sources of litter
                1.  Motorists (including boaters)
                2.  Pedestrians
                3.  Improperly containerized commercial refuse (dumpsters)
                4.  Improperly containerized household refuse
                     (weekly trash pickup) 
                5.  Loading/unloading docks and areas
                6.  Uncovered vehicles (during hauling)
                7.  Construction and demolition sites
