Welcome to Davison Township's Website
Davison Township was officially organized on April 6, 1840 and has become a high demand area of Genesee County to live and raise a family. Bisected by I-69 and only a one-hour drive to Canada, our location allows residents easy access to all of Michigan and Ontario. A blend of commercial, residential, and agricultural zoning affords residents a "one stop shopping" living experience. Add the outstanding Davison Community School District, proximity to institutions of higher education, highly trained police and fire officials and Davison Township becomes a much sought after address.
The Davison area boasts parks, non-motorized walkways, an Historical Society with a museum and a refurbished one-room school house, a dynamic Senior Center, a wide variety of recreation and community education programs, a vibrant downtown Davison shopping area, a newly formed business development district, an active library, and our Veteran's Court of Honor. We have a long history of intergovernmental cooperation which includes the Davison Richfield Area Fire Authority, the Davison Area Senior Authority and our Quad-Unit Governmental organization, a cooperative effort between Davison City, Davison Township, Richfield Township and Davison Community Schools.
The Davison Township Board of Trustees is forward thinking and continually striving to improve the quality of living for residents, businesses, and visitors. Whether you choose to live, work, play, or shop in Davison Township, you will feel welcome..
