REGISTERING TO VOTE
You can register to vote for federal, state and local elections here at the Davison Township Clerk’s Department, by visiting any Secretary of State branch office or by mail (see the Michigan Voter Information Center website for forms and requirements).  You must be registered at least 30 days before an election.  To register to vote you must be: 

  • A U.S. citizen
  • At least 18 years of age by election day
  • A resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to register to vote

MOVING
Whenever you move to a new city or township, you must re-register to vote.

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT
Absentee voter ballots are available for all elections.  They provide a convenient method for casting a ballot when you are unable to attend the polls on Election Day.  For absentee ballot requirements and the application form, go to
www.michigan.gov/vote and click on “Absentee Voting”.  The completed form can be mailed, faxed or emailed to jkoger@davisontwp-mi.org

Currently Davison Township has 8 precincts and 6 polling locations:

  • Precinct 1-   St. Dunstan’s Church at 1523 N Oak Road
  • Precinct 2-   World Outreach Center at 2275 N Irish Road
  • Precinct 3-   Faith Baptist Church at 7306 E Atherton Road
  • Precinct 4-   Davison Area Senior Center at 10135 Lapeer Road
  • Precinct 5-   Davison Township Municipal Center at 1280 N Irish Road
  • Precinct 6-   World Outreach Center at 2275 N Irish Road
  • Precinct 7-   Faith Baptist Church at 7306 E Atherton Road
  • Precinct 8-   VFW Hall at 9474 Lapeer Road

VOTER IDENTIFICATION
Remember to bring an 
acceptable form of photo identification to the polls on Election Day. Visit www.michigan.gov/vote and click on the “Voter ID” tab for the complete list of acceptable forms of I.D. and more information on this requirement.
