Pat Miller has served as township treasurer since being elected in 2004. He has resided in the Davison area for over 30 years with his wife, Diana. They have two sons, Adam and Brandon. He was employed with Will Hall & Sons for over 30 years, and graduated with a 4-year Apprenticeship through UBC of Michigan at Mott College.
Pat is a three year Graduate of MMIT for Treasurer's Training through Central Michigan University. Pat serves on the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals for Davison Township. He is a member of the Davison Area Chamber of Commerce and is involved with the Genesee County Regional Trails & Greenways which works on the development of non-motorized trails. Pat maintains the Black Creek Nature Trail for the township. He is a Lieutenant with the Genesee County Deputy Reserves Unit and a member of the N.R.A. & D.U. He also serves as a trustee on the Emmanuel Baptist Church Board where he is a member and volunteers with C.W.E. out of Tampa, Florida.
The treasurer is required to receive and take charge of all funds belonging to the township or which are required by law to be paid into the township treasury. The Treasurer's Department is responsible for collecting real and personal property taxes, receipting for township expenditures, depositing township revenues in approved depositories, investing township funds in approved investment vehicles, collecting delinquent personal property taxes and the sale of dog licenses during December, January and February.
