COMMUNITY ACTIVITY

The Davison Richfield Area Fire Department is very active in the community with educational events throughout the year. The following are highlights of activities where you will find our firefighters:

- In July, you’ll see us in the Festival of Flags Parade, a Davison Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored event.

The first week of October is Fire Prevention Week! All Davison Schools second graders tour the Fire Hall, see a short video, try on gear and see equipment demonstrations. They learn to Stop, Drop & Roll, as well as other safety tips!

Also in October is the Davison Pumpkin Fest, another Chamber sponsored event. Come and watch the Pumpkin Drop from our ladder truck-a crowd favorite!

December you’ll find some of our fire fighters involved in the Shop With A Hero program.
Tours are available upon request for civic groups or the department will visit your daycare, school or church to do a safety presentation.
